My name is Bryan O'Leary and I am a button accordion player from Tureencahill, Gneeveguilla Co.Kerry in the heart of Sliabh Luachra . I am currently studying BA Irish Music and Dance in the University of Limerick. I come from a stong musicial background as my grandfather Johnny O'Leary, was a well known and regarded accordion player steeped in the Sliabh Luachra tradition. My own personal style therefore is heavily influenced by the Sliabh Luachra music and I am picured above with another great from the Sliabh Luachra area, fiddle player Paddy Cronin. I am a well experienced performer as I perform on a weekly basis in different venues, and previously have performed in venues such as the I.N.E.C in Killarney, The Button Factory in Dublin, Oland in Sweden, and met and played for President Michael D.Higgins in Áras an Uachtaráin. I have also been featured on RTÉ Radio na Gaeltachta, RTE Radio 1 and TG4, on programme's such as Oireachtas Na Héireann, The Rolling Wave and Geántraí.
